Dir: Cameron Manion
Siren explores the dark histories lurking beneath contemporary post-colonial Australia. Alone, with nothing but her thoughts, Abigail's empty house becomes the backdrop for her slow demise. Colonial guilt, repressed sexuality and allusions to the queer murders of the seventies and eighties in coastal Australia bubble to the surface of daily life and apathetic routine, demanding to be heard.
Whole short viewable on request.
