Black Dog takes a surreal, visual journey through modes of dealing with grief. It's slow, unsettling scenes and visual metaphors leave a lasting impression.
It follows the absurdist styles of Roy Anderson and New Wave styles of Tsai Ming Liang, being shot almost solely from still mid and long shots and directed from a storyboard - purely visual creation of meaning - as oppose to a script.
